The purpose of Susan G. Komen North & West Texas is provide breast health services and education to the medically underserved women and men of our 91-county service area, as well as fund the national Susan G. Komen Research Grants program.

In order to guide our priorities and work more effectively within the community, we conduct a needs assessment which results in the Community Profile Report.  With the data collected in this report, which includes demographic and breast cancer statistics, an independent grants review panel can make the greatest impact on breast cancer in our area by awarding local grants for education, screening, and treatment programs, aligned with the most significant needs in the community.

The Community Profile Report is completed every 4 years.  The next one will be completed in 2020 and will include combined data and funding priorities for the new Komen North & West Texas Affiliate.  Below are the links for the individual Community Profile Reports completed for the Greater Lubbock Area, Amarillo, and the former Komen North Texas service areas.
